Classic tools: fully local
The four classic tools — compress, merge, split, rotate — run 100% in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to our servers or any third party, and we have no way to access its contents. You can even disconnect from the internet and keep using these tools to verify this.
AI tools: only extracted text is sent
The four AI tools — PDF → Markdown, summary, translation, and Q&A — call the DeepSeek language model. We send only the plain text extracted from your PDF, never the original file. The text is discarded after the request completes; we do not store your document content long-term.
Rate-limiting data
To prevent abuse, AI tools have a daily per-visitor limit. We identify visitors using an irreversible hash of your IP address and browser signature — we do not store your raw IP address.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email, phone, or other personally identifying information, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We use a single cookie to remember your chosen interface language (中文 / English).
Third-party services
AI features are powered by DeepSeek. When you use an AI tool, the extracted text is sent to DeepSeek for processing, subject to its privacy terms. Once paid subscriptions launch, payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we never touch your card details.
